WARNING!!! This is a REAL 911 call from a gentleman who lost his life after a belt tore his arm off at a concrete plant. The call was edited to remove the worker's name and other personal information (e.g., mentions of wife and kids' names), and it was cut off to end before the man lost consciousness and eventually lost his life from a blood loss. This is posted with the hopes that those who think they are so talented that LOTO does not apply to them will hear the pain and suffering he endured in this man's voice. This is the REAL FACE of workplace tragedy!

Why did it take the operator 2.45 before advicing him what to do?

Save for safety training....

I would love to make this required listening in my safety training but I'm sure it would never fly with the powers that be. I can think of quite a few "cowboys" that think they are faster and smarter than a machine and they should have to hear this man's anguish as he is literally dying on the phone.
Maybe this would get their attention.Just maybe.
