(UPDATED with agenda on 8/20/12) The SAFTENG.net LLC Team will be conducting our OSHA Boot Camp training for one of our local Cincinnati clients. I normally do not open this training up to outsiders, but the feedback we have received after the last couple of courses suggested that I make this course one of the FREE or REDUCED PRICE training courses we offer. So here we go...
The training will be held the week of September 24th - 27th (NOTE the change to four (4) days). Each day is a VERY FULL day of training, with WORKING LUNCHES EACH DAY, except Friday. There IS HOMEWORK EACH NIGHT that is critical to success for students. The space in this course is VERY LIMITED so it is first come first serve. The training will be in the Dayton/Cincinnati area (still yet to be determined). The client is setting the agenda/topics, but it will fall in line with a manufacturing facility OSHA compliance, including process safety management and emergency response.
Day 1 - Safe Work Practices (LOTO, PRCS, Line Break, Hotwork)
Day 2 - Machine Guarding & PPE Compliance (Hazard Assessments, Respiratory Protection Programs, Hearing Protection, Basic PPE requirements)
Day 3 - Process Safety Management and Risk Management Plan
Day 4 - Process Safety Management and Risk Management Plan
This course is MUCH MORE than an OSHA 30-hour! Not just because it is five days long, but because of the level of detail we get into. This is much more than a regurgitation of the OSHA standards; we instead explain why OSHA requires it, why it is critical to safety, and what compliance to the standard is suppose to look like and act like.
If you are interested, and have over five years experience as a safety professional (e.g. 100% full time safety leader) and you are interested in attending this training, give me a call or send me an e-mail to discuss. SAFTENG.net Corporate Sponsors and existing clients will receive a HUGELY REDUCED price to attend.
By the way, the client will have the opportunity to deny personnel working with a direct competitor (meat packing), but this client believes in spreading the word of safety and welcomes outside discussions to better prepare everyone with safety.
