This latest edition of The BULLETIN (a National Board Publication) contains another excellent article on handling and managing relief devices.  What caught my eye was the pic they used in the article...

As a safety professional, we need to be well versed in our safety devices and this brief article is a great resource from a highly reputable publication on how we should and should NOT manage our RV(s).  Even if the RV(s) is not associated with a PSM/RMP covered process, we need to know how to manage them properly.  For the ease of access, I have embedded the latest edition of the BULLETIN (which is FREE for anyone!); see pages 32-34 for the article on RVs.

SPECIAL NOTE:  The 2017 NBIC (a well-recognized RAGAGEP for pressure vessels) will contain a new PART 4.  In the upcoming 2017 Edition of the NBIC, all of the requirements and guidance relating to Pressure Relief Devices will be compiled into one book, Part 4, Pressure Relief Devices.  Part 4 was created out of the need to integrate and emphasize this unique material.  The below edition, page 28, explains this new PART to the NBIC RAGAGEP(s).
