If you have not already read the breakdowns of these new sections and the requirements contained within, there are ten (10) posts @ https://www.safteng.net/index.php/free-section/safety-info-posts/emergency-response

There is a lot of questions surrounding your concerns/questions. OSHA has said this is NOT a change to 1910.120, but when you read my breakdowns of each section of this new standard (intended to update 1910.156) the language and new terms OSHA uses does not make it clear that this new standard would NOT massively impact 1910.120(q). This NPRM process is still rather early in its progression and I know many are asking for clarity on this matter. I personally think it should impact 1910.120(q) as there are a lot of great things, especially on the Pre-Planning side, that could bring tremendous value to all "responding" and "non-responding" facilities.

I watched the presentation, but still couldn't discern how this would affect, if it does, our hazmat teams at our poultry facilities. Can you shed some light on this? Thanks!
